Implant Retained Overdentures

Implant overdentures are indicated for patients who desire a more stable prosthesis that improves retention, function and speech. Patients who are eligible for this procedure are those without any teeth in their jaw, but still have enough bone in their jaw to support the implants. This procedure is usually made for the lower jaw since dentures are commonly known to be less stable in this area.

This denture distributes occlusal loads more evenly across four or more implants, making it ideal for patients with a heavy bite or when the implants have been placed in the softer bone.
